Don’t miss a beat when taken to the streets of WeHo!

So, it’s Spring time and for some of you tourists out there are thinking, “I want to go to LA.” But what is there to do? Well, I have your solutions! Here is a list of the hottest spots to frequent in the heart of So-Cal’s gay mecca. Let’s say you’re staying for one whole week, you arrive in L.A. on Monday morning and you’re staying untill the following Monday:

- Monday nights are hot in West Hollywood. There is so much to do and so many choices, plus it’s a great night for DRAG! Shows are running on both ends of boys’ town. Our first stop on the map of gay nightlife takes us to HERE lounge, “THE SASSY SHOW” presented by Livonia Speaks. You can find some of L .A.’s hottest queens taking to the stage; even myself, and our very own DISCO DOLLIE, frequent this bar/show. They host many themed nights, charity events and celebrity special guests, all surrounded by a beautiful upscale setting. If drag’s not your bag, then head next door for drinks and social hour at The Abby.

If it’s a Rupaul’s Drag Racer you want, well we have that for you as well! Hop on over to MICKY’S for Raven’s, “Showgirls” the official party spot of RPDR, where you can see Raven and her special guests serving fish, glitz and glam! Of course, last but not least, be sure to finish your evening where all the partiers go after the shows - FUBAR for Metro Mondays, presented by Cheyenne Hauk. Special guest DJ’s spin the best in dirty disco, electro, top 40, and dance, while West Hollywood favorites Detox and Rhea Litre, host the evening and terrorize the dance floor.

-Tuesdays, nothing can be better than spending a night with: Madonna, Cher, Whitney, Reba, Pink, and Diana Ross, right? Well, only if it were the real ones! Stop into Rage nightclub, to see California’s most prized Drag Review, THE DREAMGIRLS, starring CHAD MICHEALS, MORGAN MCMICHEALS of RPDR, Venus D-lite, and more. Then stay, play, and drink the night away!

- Wednesday is a day to get away. See Rodeo Drive, visit the Beverly Center, take a relaxing walk on the beach, and at night, make it an evening of small bars like The Mother Load and Trunks for some cheap drinks and boy watching.

- Thursday, stop into Rage again for a night of heavy dance music hosted by Drag Racer Shangela, where some of L.A.’s best dance crews battle it out for cash and prizes. Weekly celebrity judges and a hipster crowd make this a great hotspot on your Thursday night.

- Fridays are a charmer, the weekend is rolling in and you’re ready to dress to the nines and hit the streets. Start off slow because you might not make it through the evening! Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood welcomes Americas Transsexual Sweetheart, Calpernia Addams, for Unreal. Along with an all star cast, including myself! Eat Drink and be MARY. Then, if you’re really lucky, head on up to the DRAGONFLY, a West Hollywood famous hotspot, for Miss Kitty’s Erotic Disco; a night of dancing and debauchery. All the freaks, cross dressers and tranny’s one can handle, go there moving to the beats of electro, new wave, Goth, and sometimes the Spice Girls; events change and nights vary. DRESS TO IMPRESS!

- Saturday nights is a bar hopping free for all, everywhere you hit in infamous boys’ town is sure to please. Events and themes change so frequently, your head could spin trying to pick a place. But don’t forget to top off the evening with Micky’s Afterhours - the party picks up after 2 AM.

- Sunday, take a stroll back to Mary’s for Follies Burg-ere, hosted by West Hollywood favorite DETOX ICunt, featuring DRAG and Burlesque; it’s all about comedy, drama and nudity! Then move on up to Fubar for Booty Bump, where the boys come to play and get laid.
