The mad success of this film, even though it was pretty awful, was nonetheless gorgeous to see in 3D - art directed to within an inch of its life - just the way we love our Tim Burton films. Let's not forget his partner Helena Bonham Carter, few women play absolutely crazy, bat-shit insane, bitch with such abandon and do it well! ;=)
