Too Important to Just Let it Slide By…

OK, firstly, we should have NEW VIDEOS POSTING NEXT WEEK!

This is a rant, from politically PISSED, La Misteriosa - take it as you will.

Now, for those living under a rock, it's super important that you watch what's happening very closely to the Senate. Since Obama took office, and the Dems lost their super-majority of 60 votes to pass ANYTHING w/out Republican help - b/c of the special election in MA that occurred b/c Senator Kennedy died (damn, if he had only lived but a few more months...), it has been impotent.

That's right, the Republicans have blocked EVERY VOTE in the Senate, with filibuster abuse; 112 as of this writing. The first time, in this nation's ENTIRE history, that the Senate is so divided by partisanship that it can no longer legislate policy - because it can't get anything voted upon at all in a super-majority to pass. In other words, our government can't so much as shit right now, b/c they won't get a majority vote for it.

'What does this mean," you ask? "I could care less," others might say. Well, you should, because without the Senate, that means NO bills of legislation from the House can pass either. So, you now have a country in complete political DEADLOCK, where nothing can happen, AT ALL. Simply because the Republicans are, in a word: assholes. They are so fucked up in the head, that they think blocking EVERY FUCKING MEASURE, somehow means they've "won" some sort of trivial bully match.

Health care? Forget it! Repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell?" Forget it! End the war? Forget it! You get the picture. This has been going on to such an extent, that now the Senate is pondering lowering the filibuster super-majority to 51, which is a majority vote - albeit a slim one. The LAST time this was done, was when the Dems were last in full control, over 30 years ago - and guess what? The Republicans then were barring a lot of measures, but now they are blocking THREE TIMES AS MANY! WTF? WHY? Partisan bullshit.

The GOP wanted certain things in the health bill, Obama agreed to concede to ALL those changes, and what happened? They lie that they were still not included in the bill, and now that Obama has endorsed it, they reject it.

The stimulus package and bank bailouts, brought forth by our former red-neck, cowboy President, was VOTED ON BY REPUBLICANS! Then, when the time came to vote on how to disburse it, they cry foul, calling it irresponsible borrowing & lending. Um, memo to GOP - it was YOUR President who voted to gut taxes and restrictions on Wall St. - which plunged our country into the top third-world country on the planet, and nearly caused the ENTIRE GLOBAL ECONOMY TO COLLAPSE! They then have the unmitigated audacity to list ALL the positive things the stimulus package money has accomplished to do positive things in their respective communities! HYPOCRITES!

Americans seem to possess short memory damage when it comes to politics, thankfully, Ms. Rachel Maddow is here to LIST EVERY HYPOCRITICAL REPUBLICAN BY NAME ON NATIONAL TV! Girl, you are our hero, and if only you were straight just so we could sire children: liberal, independent thinking, compassionate, honest drag queens!

Now, without further ado, Ms. Rachel Maddow spills the political tea - and boy, is it nuclear hot!

So, what to do? We think it's time to end this GOP elephant shit pride parade! Dems grow some cojones, and get some fucking scalps!
