Slogger Follows Through with the Fort Worth, TX Raid of a Gay Bar.
Fort Worth Police Chief: That Faggot Had it Coming.
Slogger and activist/columnist/reporter Dan Savage keep us up to date on the Stonewall Pride, 40th Anniversary, raid of a Fort Worth, Texas gay bar where a 26-year-old, 160 lbs., patron, a Mr. Chad Gibson, was brutally beaten by five officers. His injuries were so severe he now has a blood clot in his brain, which, if dislodged, can cause permanent brain damage or instant death. It could take over two years or more for the clot to dissolve, leaving Mr. Chad Gibson at the mercy of chance every day for the next few years of his life, not knowing if today is the day he is going to become paralyzed or die.
The Forth Worth Police Chief was quoted as saying: That faggot had it coming. He "had it coming" because the officers complain they were "groped" (honey, puleeze!) by Mr. Gibson. If this were true, he would have been charged with assault -- which he never was. This means, he didn't do anything, and there is no evidence to back it up (as in the security tapes that recorded the whole thing...).
