We will believe it when we SEE President Barack Obama take his brass cojones to the Presidential Podium and inform the WORLD that he intends to (GASP!) keep his campaign promise to the GLBT community — well, one of them anyway — and only after a LOT of money was yanked from several Democratic fundraisers for Joe Biden after Obama said he would stay on the side of D.O.M.A. (the FEDERAL “Defense of Marriage Act” - perhaps the most inane title for absurd legislation ever published and put into law).

Apparently Obama Co. doesn’t pay attention unless we yank the MONEY and SUPPORT our voting bloc gave him. With everything that’s going on with the various states, N.O.M., and such vocal members of the military on prime-time TV advancing the cause against D.A.D.T. (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, instituted under Bill Clinton as a compromise with the Republican majority stranglehold at the the time), he can’t AFFORD to IGNORE us.

Don’t STOP putting pressure on our own government to do right by us, it’s what we voted them into office for. If they don’t follow through - VOTE THEM OUT NEXT ELECTION.
