Calpernia Addams: NEXT!
We LOVE Calpernia Addams because the only reason things happen for her, is by sheer force of her fucking will.
Yes, she may not have the best pipes, but the fact that she is even here, that the song exists, and that she continues to thrive is a testament to her will not to be sidelined or ignored.
The song is from her short film: Transproofed, about a T-girl who needs to “transproof” her home so that she can start dating straight men. That can of worms is a WHOLE other discussion regarding ethics, but we’re sure she’s got it covered and down to a science by now.

Aww thanks, kids! It’s too true, I’m not an amazing vocalist or the prettiest girl or anything, but I still get out there and write, play and sing my own music, and then make a music video for it… There’s just so much I have to say, DAMMIT!
