True Blood: Season 2 Trailer.
This show definitely took some time to get used to, just like out writer/director Alan Ball's previous, phenomenal HBO effort: Six Feet Under. However, we became dedicated fangbangers after the whole BRILLIANT "Hamburger with AIDS" segment featuring Lafayette. Time will tell if the series departs further from the original books (The Southern Vampire Mysteries) and becomes Oscar Winner Ball's own, or adheres more stringently to the text. Either way, we're hoping that like Six Feet Under, the series only continues to improve exponentially as it runs...though, was there ever an ending to top the one from Six Feet Under? There are more promo clips on YouTube if you don't mind spoilers. The second season of True Blood starts June 14, 2009.
