THE AMERICAN ACCENT IS BACK!
Is reclaiming Madonna for America a good thing? Hrm...after dissing a group of queer fans in NYC last week, wethinks the vampiress might yet live to see the day where her die-hard queer and drag fan-base turn on her. Then again, she might have had a bad day, nursing a 22-year-old Brasilian must be a bitch on the titties - real or not. We have a soft-spot for cougars, we really do, but we have to stop and question:
Can't a cougar with a $600 Million dollar+ empire, you know, donate a few bucks to the country?
Don't get us wrong, she's doing a great thing by bringing awareness of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa, specifically Malawi, to world-wide attention. Yet, we know Madonna is not stupid, she's one of the shrewdest (emphasis on shrew) businesspersons you'll perhaps ever meet. Doing this gets her lots of free press (we're guilty too, feeding this monster, but to avoid this media is like pretending a queen's wig did not fly off during a number). So she has to pay for some documentarians, some attorneys, and nannies (and a few chartered jets so she can fly away should the flies be too much)...they were following her around anyway, why not keep them busy with a new baby!? How come saintly Angelina gets all the attention?! (HUH! WHAT ABOUT ME! MY NAME IS FUCKING MADONNA! LIKE JESUS' MOTHER!) So, In dives Madonna, but the scent of self-aggrandizement is evident, like the smell of fresh Brasillian spunk.

Oh, and yes, the American accent is BACK! How long was that? We had an office pool...
