A Change is Gonna’ Come.
If, and when, Barack Obama wins the Presidency (barring some unforeseen disaster), we think this would be the perfect inaugural song. It's a shame Sam Cooke and M.L.K. themselves never got to see the peak of the civil rights movement reach this particular apex. Senator Obama, making news again, raising an earth-shattering $150M in the month of September alone. He has actually raised, in the near 20 months of his aim for the Presidency of the USA, nearly $650M so far. That's more than Bush and Kerry COMBINED spent in 2004 - hell, it's nearly the amount of the bail-out of Wall Street.
We don't believe in god, but we do hope...hope for real change, not just a song or platitude.
