$19M for only 3 weeks worth of work…

Yes, that's $19 MILLION for only THREE weeks worth of work! NICE! I WANT THAT JOB! Notice how they are all old, white, Republican men, with the exception of one - who's African-American.

Unless you discovered the cure for HIV or cancer, developed foods that can grow without pesticides and still increase yields in dry seasons, or a car that runs on solar energy - we don't care if you have a PhD from every Ivy league in the USA or University of Higher Education anywhere else in the world...you are NOT worth that much fucking money.

PERIOD.

Put a cap on CEO salaries, like the Netherlands, they can't make more than 4 to 5 times the LOWEST salaried employee.

So, think about that when you want your representative to vote for the Wall St. bail-out that keeps assholes like these wealthy even though THEY made BAD choices knowingly or poorly, predatory or not...YOU have to pay for it, so they can KEEP their money - while you lose it with your retirement, 401(k), etc...

With over 1 MILLION+ homes in foreclosure, and tens of thousands more going into foreclosure...why don't WE, the AMERICAN PUBLIC, get the money? At $700 BILLION, that's about: ($700,000,000,000/300,000,000 citizens =) $2,333 for each and every one of us, 13 days each American has to work to pay off bailout plan (5% of a year) - that's most people's vacations in the vacation deprived USA (Europeans get months off, and they're happier and more productive - coincidence, we think not).

If you want to talk "trickle-down" economics, "voodoo" economics, it's all B.S. Why don't you give the average American their dividend of that money, and let THAT "trickle-down" to Wall St. Let's see how they vote then?!

AMAZING how Congress can "come up with" $700 BILLION practically overnight, but when disasters like Katrina hit, there's no money, no troops, no food, no water, no help...nothing -- and we KNEW it was coming, just lke this one... The Bail-Out is the equivalent of the Patriot Act, but for Wall St. 

Republicans are freaking out b/c they believe in unregulated, free-market economies (read: "greed is good"), and now it has COLLAPSED all around them. This means it affirms truths Democrats uphold: there needs to be oversight, tighter controls, and closed loopholes for corporate tax shelters, etc. In other words, the Republicans are being forced to admit that the Dems were right, and now, thanks to shit-kickers who voted for Bush who wanted a guy that they could "drink a beer with" - not that they EVER would get the fucking chance (once, was bad enough to have sinned, but twice, and you deserve to go straight to hell - do not pass go, and do not collect $200 b/c you were too stupid to see past the bullshit, and you should be deprived of the right to vote), we're stuck in a GLOBAL FISCAL CRISIS and in the middle of a CIVIL WAR OF OCCUPATION IN IRAQ. There are those who say the monies used are to buy stocks on the cheap, and when the market recovers, the Federal government will have made money. BULLSHIT! OK...where does that money go? Do we get stock dividends back as taxpayers? Will it go for Education, Social Security, Healthcare, a surplus for emergencies, etc.? Mmmmm, we're guessing not. Perhaps another "stimulus" package; a lot of good that did, eh? No, the money will be funneled back to those who don't need it. And don't get it twisted, the major stockholders are NOT letting go of their preferred stock - even in a seizure by the Feds. Expect this to be tied up in lawsuits for years to come...

Contact your Senator, and let them know you are against the bail-out plan: Senate Switchboard - (202) 224-3121. If they believe in free-markets, then those that failed should go down, and those that were doing things in the clear get help or should be fine.
