Image Metrics and “Emily.”
The work just keeps getting better. Check out this video of “Emily.” Emily is not real. She is wholly created in a computer. She is the next-generation of digital visual effects (stunt persons, “youth” versions of older actors and vice-versa, et al.) and other applications. These are sometimes referred to as SynThespians (Synthetic Thespians). Pretty cool stuff…porn is the next frontier we’d imagine…how could it not?
Expect to see a LOT more of things like this in the upcoming James Cameron sci-fi epic (coming in 3D, no less), titled: Avatar.
