here’s another clip from “Lips,” in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
This impersonation is of “Cher.” She’s about as stock in a drag show as Madonna and Joan Rivers…somehow all the drag versions are from the 80’s, not the “new and recently refreshed” Millenium-Age versions. You have to admit, all these woman must have a vise-grip underneath their wigs holding EVERY mother-fucking wrinkle.
Anyway, FYI - Cher will be alternating at the Colosseum in Las Vegas, NV — with Bette Midler and Elton John. Wow, three queens, er, divas, in one place! It’s like a drag show, but with the real things…
Supposedly, the technology employed for her new Vegas act will be as high tech as what her surgeons and aestheticians use on her face and body - with sets changing for every song in a matter of seconds…She’s had plenty of practice, so I’m sure she can change gowns and wigs just as fast…
Yes, we’ll still be catching all three fucking shows. We can’t help it, how could we not?
