so here is the first performance at “Lips” on the first “regular” night. Elektra opens up the show with the classic “Vitameatavegemin” sketch from the “Lucille Ball Show.” If you want to know why Elektra is so well known, then play the video, and watch a true professional do an impersonation.

We’ll follow this up with what also makes her great: her fast wit and acid tongue. The way she kick-starts a show, and gets a crowd warmed up, is truly like few other performers can accomplish time and again. It’s a well-honed talent.

A little bit of trivia: she was Daisy D.’s pageant mama…it worked out well, as Daisy D.’s won “Entertainer of the Year” as well, and has run “Life’s a Drag!” at Voodoo Lounge for over five years now. That’s not easy to do - watch a pro at work, play the video.
